Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Adding value to an established product development team
- Create new innovative design and development techniques
- Drive development of new and innovative solutions for Serato's suite of products
- Enhance the existing suite of product applications
- Investigate and contribute to the technical roadmap for new products
- Participate in the design and architecture discussions
- Championing best practice development techniques, and mentoring fellow team members
Knowledge and Experience:
- Solid experience of object oriented languages
- Experience of professional software development environments building software applications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with real-time application development
- In-depth understanding of current technologies
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Working in a team environment
- Understanding of software industry best practices and development principles
Skills and Talents:
- Written and oral communication
- A positive attitude, team focused attitude, and service focused attitude
- Need to be an achiever
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

- Championing best practice development techniques, and mentoring fellow team members
Knowledge and Experience:
- Solid experience of testing methods and approaches
- Experience of professional software development environments building software applications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with real-time application development

Serato is looking for a contract software engineer to create device drivers for high-performance audio hardware.
Key skills:
- Experience developing low latency ASIO, CoreAudio and WDM drivers
- Solid C/C++ programming experience
